Distinguish from the appearance: strapping tape made of new materials is more beautiful, its material is transparent, and the color is uniform. For example, we can put a piece of paper with words on the table, put a piece of new strapping tape on the paper, and then we can clearly see the words under the strapping tape, while strapping tape made of recycled materials does not have this effect.

Distinguish from the feel: strapping tape made of new materials has good rebound force, hardness, straightness and thickness. We can compare strapping tape made of 100% new materials with strapping tape mixed with recycled materials. We can stretch it in the opposite direction with our fingers and feel it. We can find that strapping tape made of 100% new materials has strong recovery force, while strapping tape made of recycled materials is not hard enough, so the recovery force is not so good.

Use experiments to distinguish, and the best way is to burn it. Strapping tape made of 100% new materials will not have a pungent smell when burned, and the residual ash is a crystal. However, strapping tape mixed with recycled materials will have an unpleasant pungent smell when burned, and the residual ash contains other substances, such as lime, etc.
